Practicum Administrator
Client - Faculty of Education, University of Wollongong
2004 - continuing
Practicum Administrator is a web-based system for allocating workplace experience placements for students.
Years of development, testing and refinement have made it integral to the placement of over 1000 students annually from within the Faculty of Education at the University of Wollongong.
The system is now in use in other Faculties and Schools, such as Nursing, in the University of Wollongong.
The Flinders University School of Education began using a customised version of the system in 2007.
Student preferences are used to equitably allocate placements, or a postcode-based, auto-placement option without preferences is available.
